What I'll do in parallel to this is try to raise this as the an issue with the trino community I am in touch with a couple of relevant people on the trino side so I may be able to get at least a bit of feedback on whether these features would be considered. Unfortunately I'm not a java developer, though, so it'd be difficult for me to make a fix in trino if it comes to it. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
