@fitzee good catch, that's real. `_collapsed_metric` mirrors the old last-metric behavior in three spots, and one of them doubles as picking the reducer for percent-of-row/column/total denominators, not just which value to display. Matching the new blank-on-mixed behavior means touching all three without breaking that reducer logic, so it doesn't fit in this PR.
