I think with `ascend.io` completely sunsetted gives us a rare opportunity to deprecate a DB connector integration without customer repercussion since they would have experienced the outage from the get go and migrate to something else to keep the lights on, similar to [`RocksetDB` PR](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/33929) -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
