Ruslan Shevchenko commented on XWIKI-2058:
------------------------------------------

Ohh -- I forgott to make clean before running maven.
(So, my patchs contains only fixed to lucene plugin).

I think that prefferable way is just change all plugins in one patch, if all
plugins are our: changes to plugins are trivial.
And write note for authors of external plugins - that interface will be change
in 1.3 [ or in 1.4 if we decide to
change signature of init from snapshot after 1.3 release. ] For authors of
plugins this is the same situation
as usual: we can say now that in 1.4 interface will changed. (Also note, that
for now exists only two external plugins
[one - mantiss, specified on web-site, second - my, yet not finished.]

Bug of course, this is organization issue. I.e. I'm not fun of complex
schema, proposed by Vincent, but if you think that one is really necessary,
let create new interface.

> Now signature of XWikiDefaultPlugin.init() does not throws any exception.
> But from point of view author of plugin, exists cases, when plugin ca't be
> initalized and must throw exception.
> [and XWikiPluginInterface.init()  have exception]
> so, I propose change signature of XWikiDefaultPlugin.init() to throw
> exception
