Allen Wittenauer commented on YETUS-390:
----------------------------------------

bq. The ignored list does not include all ignored subsystems

Yeah, I saw that too. I need to dig into that one a bit more. :(

bq. The report does contain some unit test '-1' votes without mentioning from
which module they are.

Yup. That's pretty much intentional. The only way to fix that reliably is to
completely revamp how the vote table is built since it would need to have a
module field. That causes all kinds of chaos. Instead, the logs are available
and people should be able to find the log that they care about. It's also
important to remember that this is meant to be brief: even for a project like
Hadoop, this already feels too large. :(

> qbt needs an "abbreviated email" mode

> Using Hadoop as a guinea pig has revealed that a (likely Apache-specific)
> case where:
> a) we can't use the html format
> b) the console report output is too hard to parse
> We need a new reporting plug-in strictly built for text-based email. Some
> key points, I think:
> * sends out all -1 info
> * sends out all time elapsed > some value info
> * non-tabularized format since text is unlikely to be fixed width
> * "also send" option
