Sorry for the late response. I've just got the problem and Sean's concern. (To
be honest, I didn't understand the issue correctly at the point of my last
comment. Sorry.)

optimization where it tries to avoid running in modules without java source?
I also think this is a simpler and reasonable solution. [~pvary] Could you
revise the patch following this approach?
