National Post School Outcome Community of Practice -------------------------------------------------------
Please mark your calendars for the NPSO SLDS Community of Practice that is to be held December 9th at 11am PST. The SLDS COP is an addition to our typical monthly COP call. The purpose of these calls is to bring states together so they can share their experiences with SLDS and learn from each other on how best to move forward in utilizing this data system.
Topic: Using CEDS to explore leveraging SLDS systems for IDEA Part B indicator 14 reporting Bill Huennekens is the State Wide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) State Support Team Common Education Data Standard Technical Assistance Expert. During the December NPSO Community of Practice call Bill will explain how the CEDS web-based tools Align and Connect work and how they can be used to explore leveraging SLDS systems for IDEA Part B indicator 14 reporting. The session will show data systems that have been mapped in the Align tool and policy and research questions related to indicator 14 that are currently in the Connect tool.
