Thanks for this input. SHOWFULLSCREEN appeared in V5 of NSBasic. I believe
you are right and our versions were created before we even had intrinsic
SHOWFULLSCREEN access.

 Either way, as long as a stable application is completed in the end, any
function or code sequence can be implemented. I do not feel there is a right
or wrong way to code but in many cases there is an optimized way to do
things. That being said, this latest ASpriteCE journey will be another
interesting one many of will take and we will eventually be glad we took it.

 

I am looking forward to seeing some interesting games or graphics
applications in the near future using ASpriteCE and NSBasic.

It's too long ago now for me to be sure, but I think when I wrote the
method in ESPUtils.dll for full screen report that ShowFullScreen
didn't even exist in NSB. As far as that's worth, I would imagine
ShowFullScreen uses the same calls I do, so there should be no reason
not to use it instead.
