I'm curious to find out what you all think our chances are of attracting quality signings before next season? The main reason I ask is that I think two of the clubs coming up next season are potentially going to be more attractive propositions for players than Wolves: 1) Despite their relegation last year and whether we like it or not, Newcastle are still a bigger club than us - fan base, stadium, recent history in the top flight, so I think they will be able to attract good player. 2) similarly, the Baggies with their repeated promotions and relegations potentially have a stronger financial ability to attract players (promotion bonuses & parachute payments over the past few years) plus they have appeared in the top flight more often than us in recent years. I don't know whether their yo-yo status gives them more clout or not. Of the other potential clubs to be promoted I don't see any of them being more attractive than us. I also think we can complete with West Ham, Wigan, Bolton, Stoke in trying to attract talent. It's just those two stripy shirted teams that worry me when it comes to trying to get quality either on loan or permanent deals. What do you think?
