I'm not sure it matters how much people like him or not, the fact is he
scores goals regularly and that is something that we are going to need
to stay up again.

Funnily enough, Muscat was (and still is) widely hated by everyone
except the team that he currently plays for. When a player like that
plays for your own team it generally no longer becomes an issue, it's
only when they are playing for someone else that the hate returns.

Craig Bellamy to Wolves - are you haviong a laugh? He is hated by most
Wolves fans after a number of incidents down the years including his run
in with Muscat when at Norwich and the incident where he pointed to his
Premiership badge (claiming 'Thats what its all about') when we knocked
Newcastle out of the FA Cup. He's hated by most football fans, and it
would appear by most of the people he has ever played with and for, and
that would probably be for good reason. Watch how many of his team mates
celebrate with him when he scores a goal and you'll see how well liked
he is. Not the sort of bloke you want in your squad.

I see that City have put Bellamy up for sale. I reckon he would add
some much needed mongrel to the team and he is a proven goal scorer at
premier league level. Normally I would have said that he's well out of
reach for us but he's getting on a bit now (31) and would be guaranteed
1st team football with us, but does anyone realistically think we could
attract him to Molineux (not withstanding his alleged 95,000 pound per
week salary)?

Cheers,

Marcus
