I'm not sure it matters how much people like him or not, the fact is he scores goals regularly and that is something that we are going to need to stay up again.
Funnily enough, Muscat was (and still is) widely hated by everyone except the team that he currently plays for. When a player like that plays for your own team it generally no longer becomes an issue, it's only when they are playing for someone else that the hate returns.
