Same points as us, on a worse run of form and playing away from home in their
final fixture. Doesn't sound like a good swap to me.

Which teams around us would you swap places with Lee?

I disagree, I think we are in a very worrying situation. Blackburn will be just
as hungry as us, and they aren't that bad a team....ask Rog how they ripped us
apart last year (we had to sit through the worst game ever...although The Hoff
scored...), and they did the same earlier this year.

I honestly can't see Blackpool beating Man U, and if they draw we'll nip them
on goal difference unless Blackburn tonk us..sorry Jeremy. So we just need one
of either Wigan or Blues to loose as well......

Its a situation none of us wanted to be in going into the last game of the
season....the Spurs situation re the Europa does give me some optimism.

The saver bet sounds bloody good to me though, if I can get 9/1 I'm on it,
although I hear the odds have dropped much lower than that.

It's a "saver". It's a betting term I think that Rog is best to explain. I
don't think it will happen but it the stars aligned and it did the 10x return
would be some consolation.

Only a Wolves fan could seriously fear for our current situation. I wouldn't
swap with any of the teams that are still in the mix for relegation.

How can you complain about "such negativity" when it was you who suggested

Such negativity

 * Birmingham away at Spurs, who are playing for a spot in the Europa
 * Blackburn's away record is as bad as ours. 4 losses and 2 draws in the
last 6 games.
 * Blackpool have to beat Manure at OT. They haven't lost there all season.
They might play their second string but their 25 man squad is superb. I don't
think the argument of caring about their record is valid but they'll certainly
want to win in home.
 * Stoke have nothing to play for, I agree but, they haven't had anything to
play for for a while and yet have still won two of the last three. Wigan beat
the worst team in the league by one goal.
 * I'd be low more worried if I supported Wigan, Blues, Blackpool or Blackburn
 * Odds of three wins in a row are small, but fortunately the outcome of this
game is not related to the result in the other two so we don't have to worry
about those odds.

I really do fear for us now. If West Ham had held on for at least a draw we
would have been ok. Istill in our hands but what odds on three wins in a row?
Plus our record against Blackburn is terrible, and all the others play sides
who have absolutely nowt play for.

$100 on relegation would offset it if it did happen.

William Hill have us at $9 to go down. What time do they open the book again
in Australia? Got to be worth a few bob if the same odds are on offer here.
