I wouldn't be surprised if there's an announcement before the end of the week. Mick's dismissal was not just a reaction to the game on Sunday and so I'd imagine there's been some contact made already with likely candidates sounded out.
I read an interesting article flipping the 'Who would your choice of manager be' question on its head to say 'Assume you get a call from Moxey saying you can't pick the new manager, but you are able to give 1 name to be scratcehd from the candidate list'. Given what I've seen so far as the more realistic candidates, that would be Steve Bruce for me. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steven Millward Sent: Wednesday, 15 February 2012 1:47 PM To: nswolves Subject: [NSWolves] Timing When do people think we'll appoint a new manager/scapegoat? Presumably in the next few days so that they can take control with enough time to get a grip before Newcastle. There's an interesting thread on Mol Mix about what you would do if you were manager. The basic gist of it is that people would pick the same team but tell them to play better. There must be more to football management hadn't there? -- Boo! Clipboard out!
