I made the change before the last Ashes that Australia lost, and took abuse from friends for it. I've paid my price
My main motivation was that I didn't want to support a different national team from my sons. It would be odd when they are older to have different teams. It's interesting to me to find how easy it is to change. The way people talk about it like it's in the blood but it's not.
