Nick,

I hope I have this right.

For the Windows 95 unit I found the information stored in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\DHCP . I deleted
the keys found under this location.

For the Windows 98 unit I found the information stored in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\DHCP . I just
deleted this key.

For the Windows 2000 unit I found the information stored in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DHCP . I just deleted
this key.

I hope these are right... I am just recalling them from memory.

I'll be honest I didn't check every single item stored under these keys, but
I recall seeing most of the settings you may see with WINIPCFG for the
WIN95/98.

If you have a unit with DHCP enabled go to those keys and check them out. I
happen to be using a static IP from where I am now so I can't quickly check
for you.

Later.

Are you saying that windows stores the IP of the DHCP server in the
registry?

What sort of info was in the registry keys?
