Was this simply a network switchover or did you add this new W2K box? Was
the W2K box an upgraded NT 4.0 PDC? Now that the subnet has changed have you
made those changes to DNS and DHCP? Is the domain running in Native mode?

Subject: Clients cannot find domain controller

I just switched one of my buildings over from its own network to a VPN
connected subnet with the rest of the district. The subnet has own domain
controller (WIN2K SP2) and is a global catalog and is running DHCP, DNS and
WINS for the subnet.

My WIN2K Pro client found the domain controller fine but the NT4 WS nor the
WIN9X clients can find the domain controller.

When I switched the domain controller over from its own network to one for
the district network the NetBios domain name does stay the same.

What is messing me up?

Thanks.
