Isn't there any security issue if we join it to domain?

No need to apologize IMO.

Why not add the machine to the domain? Just set it as a stand alone...no
services, shares, active directory etc. and you will be able to take
advantadge of the benefits of the user account base.

Hello and Sorry everybody.

I remember someone has asked this before, but I can't find the email!
Here it is:

We have one IIS-FTP Server on W2K-Server. This server is not joined to the
domain, but it's connected to the internal network. Now, because ftp
authentication is on username/password, is there anyway we can use domain
users for authenticating without joining this server to the domain?
