Ok all firmware updates went without problem, but still no printing.
Im fairly certain we've ruled out the hardware as the issue...but I cant
think of where to look software-wise to double check why everything stops at
the spooler.
What's even more wierd is that I have a Canon GP200 network printer hosted
on the same machine with the same HP print server and I dont have a single
problem printing to it (none of the network users do).
Given that, my first thought is that a driver for the HP somehow was
corrupted...I deleted the drivers, deleted the port, deleted the printer and
started from scratch. The printer is reinstalled, brand new drivers, and a
fresh TCP/IP port, but still nothing.

I forgot one thing. Update the firmware on the Jetdirect Print server!
Seriously. You'll probably find that it is way out of date. I can't
remember what the newest version is, but take a look on HP's site and they
provide ALL the utilities to do this.
