Sorry it was not clear One forest two domains trees with a single domain in each domain tree, corpx.com and corpy.com
Does AD integrated DNS zone replication cross domain tree boundaries within a forest? If one tree is corpx.com and the other is corpz.com, will an AD integrated zone created for corpx.com on corpz.com's DC be replicated via AD (of course there is already an AD integrated zone for corpx.com on corpx.com's DC) -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Miller [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, November 13, 2001 8:03 PM To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: RE: W2K Domain Trusts and AD Integrated DNS Zones This really requires a white board to properly work out. Email me a viso document or something.. Off the top of my head. You have 3 separate forests correct? Where do they all point for DDNS. What does Netdiag /test:dns /fix yield from each DC? The simplest way to replicate across different AD domains would be to setup the replicas as secondary of the main DDNS server. Hope that made some sense... The reason I ask is that I could not even get the transitive trust to work properly between the two domains (in the same forest) until all the SRV records were in both zones. AD integrated zones do not seem to replicate between domain trees in the forest.
