Thanks for taking the time to articulate the myriad things that annoy the heck out of me with Outlook 2000, but I've never put a keyboard to.
I got so equally frustrated that yesterday that I went in search of an update for Calypso, which I'd used for quite some time until its spotty support for ever-increasing HTML mail finally sent me crawling to OL. Sadly, I found that Calypso is no more. However, I did discover a new (to me, and I thought I'd tried 'em all) email client called PocoMail. I downloaded it and immediately let out a giant sigh of disappointment at the clunky GUI. Makes early Pegasus look princely. But based on what I'd read, I persevered and within a couple hours had sent over my $25 to register. Registered users get access to skins that vastly improve the GUI; skins that emulate Eudora and OL abound. A PIM this is not, to be sure, but I personally don't need that. And it's a tad buggy at this point, but I'm hanging in there! http://www.pocomail.com/ ~Jeanne I stand nothing to gain, just would LOVE to see OL lose some ground. ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
