www.thethin.net has an excellent thin client mailing list - high volume tho.
You may also want to look at what other terminals NCD and Wyse have that could support your particular environment. Wyse seem to have some based on their comparison chart I see x11-R6 listed http://www.wyse.com/products/what_is/comparechart.pdf for NCD http://www.ncd.com/products/hardware/thinstar/ looks like it depends what model you have. regards Dean -----Original Message----- From: Bud DAWSON [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Saturday, 6 October 2001 7:58 a.m. To: NT 2000 Discussions Subject: Accessing Terminal Services from X-Terminal I am currently running a Citrix Winframe server, permitting users with NCD X-Terminals to run Windows applications (at the same time as they connect to their Unix environment from the same terminal) I now have installed Windows 2000 Terminal Services as a trial, and it looks to be a good alternative. However, to connect to the Terminal Services server I have to download and install the "tsclient" What do I do to connect from the x-terminal to the TS server. (With winframe, the user issues a command like this: rsh <servername> wincenter -display $DISPLAY$ where the variable $DISPLAY points to the IP address of the x-terminal Any suggestions will be appreciated Thanks Cheers Bud Dawson [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] *************************************************** This e-mail is not an official statement of the Waikato Regional Council unless otherwise stated.
