That's not the problem. Because the 9x clients can see some of the
printers but not all of them which are all shared the same way.

Thanks

Under the network properties on the 9x clients. The identification tab.
Do you have your domain name listed in the workgroup field? If not then
change it to that, it may help. I have seen that fix a lot of symptoms
like that.

Subject: Printer not seen for win9x client

I've recently experienced this weird problem that I couldn't have an
explanation about:

It's a win2k native mode with current SP. Most win2k pro as clients,
but a few win9x clients. One w2k server is configured as print server
and shares multiple printers. The problem is that out of 7 printers,
win9x clients only see a couple of the shared printer when you point
them to \\servername\. For what ever reason, they will not see any
other printers. I've deleted and recreated the other printers many
times. I've compared all aspects of the permissions, WINS, etc. between
the printers that they do see, but can't find the discrepancy.

Has any one experienced the same symptom?

Thanks,

Andrew,
