What program?  I have never heard of anything that tells you to do anything
like this.  You are kidding about the config.sys, right?  Remember, W2K is
based on NT Kernel?  Doesn't use those.

What is the max amount of files Windows 2000 can open simultaneously?

I have a Windows 2000 Server with about 20 workstations.  The program says 
that I should set in the config.sys.  FILES=XX   where XX = 60 times the 
amount of workstations, which would be 1200.

So, it would be FILES=1200

Is this correct for windows 2000? Using the config.sys or do I have to edit 
the registery somewhere?
