i) Have the directory that contains the Project folders use the
following permissions:
        -Everyone -> Read & Execute, List Folder Contents, Read
        and inherit them down.
ii) For each of the individual Project folders set the security to add
in the full control permissions for the appropriate people (or for
everyone, depending).

This way they can do anytihng they want INSIDE the individual project
folders but they can't change the folder names etc.

hope this helps

Subject: Directory Permissions

We have a directory here which contains all of our Project folders.

The directory needs to be RW accessible by everyone, but the problem is
people keep accidentally moving or deleting directories.

If I remove the "Delete" permission for everyone, they can no longer
delete files. I only wish to protect directories from being deleted.

In effect, I would like them to be able to do the following things:

-> Create subdirectories
-> Create files
-> Append files
-> Delete files

I would not like them to be able to do the following:

<- Move Directories
<- Delete Directories

Is there any way I can go about doing this?
