I have a lab in which I set up 2 Ethernet and 1 Token ring Subnet and then
connected them to a windows 2000 machine which I am using to route between
the subnets. Now for example I have Subnet A which is the subnet all servers
sit on DhCp and sms servers domain controllers. Subnet B which is all
workstations. When a machine on Subnet B has windows 98,2000 or NT. It
connects to machines on subnet A ok gets dhcp address from subnet A and is
able to map a drive to the images share on a server on subnet A. Now using
the same user id and password. I boot a machine up on subnet B with a boot
disk to load a image from subnet A. I get a dhcp address but I get a error
53 cant find computer name in path when trying to map a drive to a server on
Subnet A. now if I move the workstation from subnet B to subnet A it works
Fine. So I think the router is not forwarding everything.

Any one have any ideas. One want or how to fix this

Matt
