Depends on where all your Subnets are. At lease one DC/GC placement is recommended for each Active Directory site. It is possible to have multiple subnets in one site. If you have designed your Active Directory sites properly then each site should have at lease one DC/GC. Optimally, you should have two DC/GC for redundancy.
