Ok elkins... .just for your sake... since they say a friend in need is a friend indeed.... well guess what .. I did just that.. went thru the command prompt... went to the i386 folder and ran winn32 /cmdcons... on the laptop... and it just finished the installation.. said I needed 7 mb of space.. and if I wanted to proceed ahead... and i says yes.. and it says wait.. and then jsut says succesfully installss your console... try it agian..
