Just call CA tech support, then you will know why he said he hates CA.

Thank you,

Why do you hate CA if they are solid?

We use MimeSweeper. It is similar to Sybari in that they use a 3rd
party
scanner, but we found their content scanning to be superior. We use
InocuLAN to scan files on the server and desktop. Product is solid, but
I HATE CA.

Yes, Sybari is a good choice. Their product is unique in that they do
not develop their own anti-virus patterns and scanning engine. What
Sybari do best is to interfacing to the Exchange store and using other
vendor anti-virus scanning solutions to do the work. You can have
multiple scan engines enabled for redundancy...no other Anti-virus
vendors can do that.

We use Sybari Antigen, and wouldn't have it any other way

We use Trend Micro's Neat Suite. They have a HTTP filter for MS Proxy 2
(don't know about ISA) - works great. We also use the use Server
Protect and ScanMail for Exchange 5.5. Very little performance hit. We
have 1 subnet and about 100 users. Note - Inoculan uses the MAPI API
for its MS Exchange scanner - it absolutely killed our server's
performance, that is why we went to Trend.

Sorry for the previous mail, it was with the wrong subject!

I have a server (W2k) with exchange and Isa servers. What anti-virus do
you recommend? I need to scan the system, e-mails in exchange and web
traffic through the proxy. The server is serving only 25 workstations,
and workload is definitely not an issue here!

Thanks in advance,
