Less than 1G free on C$ might be a problem.  Though, I see no mention of a
running out of disk space error in your mail so maybe not.

Try disconnecting all *extra* periph's.  i.e. scsi zip, and card if not
used by HD, so that you only have your CD-Rom and HD, and of course
mouse and keyboard.

Also, be sure the drive isn't compressed and that there is no BIOS live
AV programs running or even OS level AV prog's running.

Worst case scenario, if you have a spare HD try installing to it, if it
works then you will need to back up your current data from you initial
HD and reformat.
