Been a while, but if I remember, Novell used 802.3 for 3.x, and switched to 802.2 for
4.x. Hope that helps.

Might I suggest a neat little fire or something that destroys all equipment, and
copies of the NOS? Then you would be able to tell them that there is no way to get
new media, so they have to upgrade or switch! j/k, but the thought is fun.

What is happening is 2000 clients are constantly losing connectivity to the
netware server. I am thinking that a client upgrade and/or the frame type
may be to blame.
I realize 3.11 is old, it should be upgraged, it is not 2k compliant. I got
all that. Unfortunately I am merely supporting a company that does not want
to spend the money to upgrade. I just need to get their issue at hand fixed.
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks all.

Does anybody know the correct frame type to use on a windows 2000 box
connecting to a Novell 3.11 server? Is it 802.2 802.3? Thanks
