What kind of errors? Have you checked the event logs on the fileservers
your users can no longer access? Event logs on the domain controllers
(whether win2k dc's or NT bdc's)? That would probably be the first place to
start. Obviously something had to have been changed for it to affect so
many users.

Subject: Access woes

So yesterday, one of the senior developers got canned (not on good terms).
He knew a few admin passwords, so my boss (I'm the intern) took measures to
prevent his getting pissed and destroying us from the inside-out.

A bunch of passwords were changed, the user's account was disabled and his
VPN locked out, and his email was shut off.

Now this morning, no one on the domain (except for me, with my slightly
elevated privileges) can access their network drives. I checked the
share/file-level permissions to make sure everything was in order, and it
seemed to be ok, but still no access.

My boss is out today, taking his boat out of the water, so I ask the list,
What else should I check?

TIA
