Is the pdc working okay? Anything in the event logs to help you isolate, ask other questions? Can you successfully add a host to the domain on the same segment as the pdc - thus ruling out the wan, and wins, etc?

Not possible. Win2K DC cannot exist in a domain where an NT4.0 PDC exists - they are both trying to do the same job. The Win2K DC needs to start in it's own domain.
