Although GPO's do not give you the option to schedule the installs . . .
Depending on how the software installation is  configured, the user may not
have the software installed until next reboot, or may have it immediately
available in add/remove programs for installation.

If it is an MSI then you can use the Active Directory to deploy the
software,
