Ed, I followed your suggestions, but it still isn't working. I'm receiving the same error messages. Is there anything else I could try?

It is possible you are not logging on to the domain. Some times this issue will arise if you have a WINS problem. I have seen this before. Do you have a static WINS mapping for this server? Do you even use WINS? IF so try this. Shut down the server. Open up WINS and look through the database for the server name. Delete all instances. If you have more then one WINS server check the others too for this server name and delete it. Once you confirm they are all gone fire up the server and see if you get the same result. You have been logged on using cached account information. Changes to your profile since you last logged on may not be available. A couple of MS KB's mention the problem may be in an ethernet switch. That the Spanning Tree Algorithm should be disable. Then another KB says that the spanning tree portfast setting SHOULD be enabled (which it is). We have Cisco switch. The other thing that confuses me is that I can map to other servers without a problem. Also, this has recently become a problem. It was working at one point. I need help.
