I did not set up a specific media library and I set BackupExec to overwrite any media I have put in the drive. I think some of the tapes I use in rotation had appeared in a Media set on their own. I have dumped everything into 'Scratch' and I'll see what happens now. I guess I should have noticed that at first ;P~ > another I was trying to backup more then 40GB, at which point it was backing > up just popped out the tape asking for another to write the other 8GB. I That I definitely hate :-) We're backing up 113Gb nightly at the moment. But luckily we're using LTO technology so running out of tape capacity is not a big problem at this point in time :-) > personally haven't ever had any major issues with 8.5, that weren't resolved > by a Veritas fix. I think these were probably just due to a glitch in my own operation of the software. -- Adam Smith Information Technology Officer SAGE Automation Ltd.
