I did not set up a specific media library and I set BackupExec to overwrite any media 
I have put in the drive.

I think some of the tapes I use in rotation had appeared in a Media set on their own.  
I have dumped everything into 'Scratch' and I'll see what happens now.

I guess I should have noticed that at first ;P~

That I definitely hate :-)  We're backing up 113Gb nightly at the moment.  But luckily 
we're using LTO technology so running out of tape capacity is not a big problem at 
this point in time :-)

I think these were probably just due to a glitch in my own operation of the software.
