Telnet should never be used on a public link due to passwords transitting in cleartext. Likewise, most of the "r" are commands considered vulnerabilities.Hmmm, actually there's no particular reason that we're not using telnet now that I think about it, but I will evaluate that as an alternative - thanks!
ssh, secure shell, is the secure alternative.
