In my environment(s), the remote command shell would only be used across private links, or over VPN sessions - but I can appreciate the concern for security nonetheless - thanks.

Telnet should never be used on a public link due to passwords transitting in cleartext. Likewise, most of the "r" are commands considered vulnerabilities. ssh, secure shell, is the secure alternative. http://lexa.mckenna.edu/sshwindows/ http://www.ssh.com/products/security/secureshellwinserver/ Len ------ You are subscribed as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to %%email.unsub%% ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
