True, but in the event his wife decides to access a page that requires her to open a specific port it will just fail (example). With Kerio it will prompt you that you are trying to access this outbound port, do you wish to permit or deny. Click permit and the rule is set.
I am not saying either way is better or worse. I just happen to like it and it makes life easier for my family and myself. But to each is own. Of course I still run through access list from time to time to look for bogus rules.
