We are seeing similar issues here. Our outside users are complaining about the
"Requesting information from the exchange server" dialog box popping up all the time
and slowing them down. I have done some testing and the frequency of the popup seems
to depend on the reliability of there internet connection, but these people are using
the same connection that they were when running OL2000 and they did not experience any
problems. Any thoughts?

I have several users using Outlook 2002 at their home office to connect to our
Exchange 2000 server and they are all complaining about this issue (they are
connecting to internet through 56k or ADSL connections). Users connecting through
cable modem connections are less affected. Users using Outlook 2000 do not experience
this issue at all.

Is it me or is Outlook 20002 really slow when it comes to simply
retrieving email? I can literally sit here and see every mail as it's
downloaded. In Outlook 2000 is was fast and dayum near transparent to
the naked eye. Anyone eXPeriencing this?
