I have a question as to what file is actually updated when there is something written to the event Log. I thought it was the .evt but when I look at the date modified the time does change every time there is an event logged. Then I thought maybe the .log but I don't see an application one.
What I am doing is writing a program that is going to watch when one of the files is updated and then read the file and update a database.
