This is very technical, but it looks to me like a file open:
"open paren" filename "close paren"
like you would normally get as well, except that it isn't referring to a file
name but to a file number. I know it sounds *really* weird, but it might be a
broken dll in your windows installation (I've seen this happen with a commercial
distribution before).
