Hi Thomas, You may try to look in your texexec.ini (run "kpsewhich texexec.ini" to get the path) for those lines:
set TeXFormatFlag to & set MpFormatFlag to & and replace them with those: set TeXFormatFlag to \& set MpFormatFlag to \& It solved it for me.
