Hi all,
I had to recompile a document I last compiled in June; all I did was to
replace a problematic image (the original image file format wasn't working
for people who use iThings).
Compiling with today's stand-alone LMTX caused a bad page break, causing me
a bit of annoyance. Trying to track this issue down, I compiled my
document with TL's context. TL's context gave me a pdf which diffpdf says
is identical to the one from June (evidently diffpdf doesn't peer at the
internal organs of image files, but that is another issue).

According to that, things seem to be the same. And to be certain, I
downloaded and installed another standalone from scratch, and the problem
persists.
I'm at a loss as to how to start hunting down this problem.
Can any wizard point me in the right direction?
(The document is too big, with too many included images, to inflict on
innocent list members. In the unlikely event that someone nonetheless
wants to see it, I can tar or zip it up and send it to you off-list. I
don't think generating a minimal example is going to produce a small
example.)
