This is simply not true AFAICT. I've been around for years and my questions were not always answered immediately or on a first try. And I've seen newbies whose questions generated very long answers/threads.

If you don't get an immediate/timely answer, politely post a second or even third time if necessary. As I said earlier, there are no privileged users on this list.
