Colin,

ntop on WinNT/2K/XP is a service hence -b is not necessary.
-v no present in Unix too.
-A is used to set the admin passwd. The Win installer uses it to set the 
initial password.
-u on windows doesn't make sense.

DB support is not available on Unix too. If you need it export NetFlow 
flows towards a collector such as the one I have written and that saves 
flows into a DB.

Bottom line: the Windows version is like the one on Unix beside some 
little differences (-u) that cannot be applied to Windows.
