The man page is a single page for all versions. It VERY CLEARLY indicates
which switches and parameters are Win32 only and Unix only.

Subject: [Ntop] Ntop/Win2k db and user issues

Hi

Have I missed the plot or made a mess of building Ntop for Windows?

It seems that Ntop built for Win2k doesn't support -b, -v, -A or -u and
thus :
     1. There's no plugging in to a background database
     2. First run instructions aren't applicable to my platform
     3. Functionality of Admin tab is not accessible

In other respects Ntop appears to be working well and gathering info
beautifully. The man page excludes most of these switches in the
Synopsis but goes on to talk about them further down so I'm not sure
what to believe. I'm plenty ready to believe I made a mess of the build,
LOL.

Your advice is appreciated.

Colin
