Updating 1STRUN.TXT is a good idea, I've already committed it to the cvs.
Thanks!

As to updating the man page, it's currently this:

       Not available on micro-ntop:

       [-e|--max-table-rows <number>]

       Unix options:

       [-d|--daemon] [-i|--interface <name>] [-o|--no-mac]
[-u|--user <user>]
       [-E|--enable-external-tools] [-K|--enable-debug] [-L]
[-use-syslog <facility>]
       [--ignore-sigpipe]

How would you suggest changing it?

Hi Burton

Thanks for your reply. You are, of course, quite correct but the
obvious was obscured by facets of reality which I mention here as they
may be of assistance to someone following my footsteps one day.

1STRUN.TXT suggests that irrespective of platform the first invocation
of ntop requires use of -u and -A

When these fail on W2K it is only natural to initially conclude that
something possibly went wrong in the make. After all, there's no
evidence yet of Ntop working at all. When Ntop then appears to work but
Admin functions are inaccessbile because user name and password are
required one is drawn back to the nagging memory of -u and -A failing to
work. Consulting the man page becomes an additive to that soup because
during the first 15 or so reads of the page -u appears to be excluded
from micro-ntop which is hardly relevant in my situation. Eventually it
becomes apparent that there is a line break missing between the mention
of -e and the Heading for Unix Options.

Regards

Colin
