Hi Everyone; I'm new to this list so I'll briefly introduce myself. I'm a 22 years old computer science student located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, specialized in UNIX systems administration, database administration and development for UNIX platform.
I'm working on a network analysis and design project in which I have to analyse a business' network, report areas of trouble, etc... Ntop is doing a great job, I just dropped off my laptop at the business' location this morning, went to check up on it at lunch time and the laptop crashed, which wasn't a really big problem, but I'd like to be able to save the whole data somewhere since I will need to make reports and presentations out of it later this week. If I launch ntop again from my laptop to see the web interface with all the report, being on a different network (my house), will affect the statistics and I'd really like to be able to just freeze ntop the way it is right now and be able later on to browse through and do my reports. Is there any way to do that ? Also, since the laptop crashed and I lost some of the data, before restarting ntop, I saved /var/lib/ntop/* somewhere else just it case it would get lost even though I always called ntop with -S 1 but is there any way to get the 24hr network load graph ? I really need that one :-\ Thanks for your time -- Xavier Spriet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ Ntop mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listgateway.unipi.it/mailman/listinfo/ntop
