Of course it's SUPPOSED to work.  Do you think everybody on SourceForge just puts GB of non-working software out there??  Whom do you think we are?  Computer Associates???

At least your message gives us more information about you than about your problem with ntop...  I can probably help you overcome your idiocy, but I can't do a thing for you WRT ntop.

Did you READ the information in the rpm file?

     $ rpm -q -p ntop-2.1.57-0.i386.rpm -i

Did you READ the documentation that comes with the rpm?

There is an entry at http://snapshot.ntop.org on How to ask for help.  It tells you the kinds of information we need to see to be able to help you help yourself. READ it.

Subject: [Ntop] Run on RedHat ?

Hi there,

Since I had heard of ntop, I wanted to give it a try but unable to run it.  Is it supposed to work ?  I tried the rpm file.  It installed itself but when I try to run it, it complains !

Thanks in advance,

Benoit
