... I have the very same problem ... and it always complains about its
startup options ... and then when it's finally running it's always in a
hurry to get it over with ... <sigh> ... she's a harsh mistress.

all kidding aside though, are there any solid statistics (or personal
experiences) out there about the ammount of traffic that ntop is capable of
handling, and what types of systems are required for
<insert-connection-info-here> (not necessarily bandwidth based, but also
packet/sec based, or any other metric)?

Just looking for some additional information from people who have been using
the package for a while now -- and what's available on snapshot.ntop.org
(while good) is a little light on the "our experiences" side of things, and
the sourceforge 'forums' are non-existant.
