Brian,
I don't see a problem with Cisco port mirror as I use it everyday on my Catalyst 2950XL.

I assume you use ntop 3.0.x, correct? What is see is that ntop crashes (i.e. core dump), right? Do you have a way to reproduce the problem?

Cheers, Luca

Hi, I have Ntop running on a Linux box, Fedora Core 1, and I need to mirror
a port on my Cisco switch, which is no biggie, but when I run Ntop, it dies,
as the nic that I have it setup to monitor with has no IP. Anyone know what
I am doing wrong?

Thanks
